Howdy folks! It’s been awhile but I’ve been having some GREAT weeks. Last week I only lost .4lbs, but I was very proud of that week. I drank all my water again and stuck to the plan every meal but one. That in itself is a miracle because I love to eat out. I wasn’t too sad about the minimal weight loss because the day of my weigh-in was the worst day of the month (yay, Aunt Flo!) Is it immature to still call it that? I normally don’t, but I’m not sure what the proper blog protocol is.
Anywho, had another weigh-in today. Down 3 more pounds! That’s a total of 31lbs that I’ve lost while on Jenny and 43lbs (down) total. Woohoo! My favorite part this week was my monthly measures. They take measurements every month in four different places. The bust, waist, hips and tummy (I think?) and then give you a ribbon representing all the total inches lost. Get this, I’ve lost 21.3 inches. Holy cow! You should see my ribbon. It’s crazy long!
Finally after having some rocky weeks where I was not happy with my results and where I was really hard on myself, I’m finally getting back into the groove of losing. I still have quite a long road ahead but I’m extremely happy with my results. You gotta take pride in the little goals, you know? Otherwise it just seems like you’ll never reach that end goal. I just keep thinking about all the adorable clothes that I want to wear. I will eventually enjoy shopping again!
There’s a great women’s only swim classes that I desperately want to take. I am an avid swimmer. Swimming is one of my all time favorite activities, but for the past few years, I’ve avoided it like the plague. I don’t want to see my body in a swim suit. Why would anyone else? I’m getting close to the point where I’d feel comfortable joining the class and wearing a suit. I’m not quite there, but maybe 10 to 15 more pounds and I’m just going to do it!
Looking forward to more great weeks and losing more weight! Now let’s all go have a five-minute dance party.
Congrats on your weight/inches loss. You look terrific.
You should get one of those cute unisuits or tri-suits like people who do triathlons wear and just dive in! Nothing feels better than falling into bed exhausted all over from swimming.

Thanks Mary! I feel terrific! Those suits are so cute! The funny thing is have this really awesome “swimmer” looking speedo suit (and it’s purple) that I bought to take this class years ago (but chickened out and never used the suit). Tried it on yesterday and it fits again!
You! Are! Awesome! I love reading about your amazing triumphs! You go, girl! I realize that is a very 90s thing to say, but the occasion warrants it
I still feel like I’m living in the 90s, so I’ll take it! I’m dying to bring back “gag me with a spoon.” I think I can do it.
Yay! Meredith. Your posts are inspiring!
Thank you so much, Karen. And thanks for reading!
